Abstract:
Dry Silane XLM 51 is delivered in form of solid, free flowing pellets containing liquid XLM 51, a silane based, 1 step cross-linking agent for unstabilized LDPE and LLDPE resins. Designed for LV & MV power cables with copper conductors and jacketing. Our special carrier technology has made it possible to manufacture this highly concentrated batch successfully.
Dry Silane XLM 51 is already equipped with full package of A/O and MD to pass through ageing test 10 days @ 135°C on copper cable.

Active silane contents means how many percentage active silane mixture is contained in the whole dry silane, thus active silane contents = active silane mixture/ (active silane mixture + porous polymer carrier), active silane mixture + porous polymer carrier = dry silane.
Applications and Performance:
It is mainly used for crosslinking of low- and medium-voltage power cables with copper conductor based on unstabilized polyethylene resins. Improves stability. Prevents premature crosslinking.
Packing:
The regular packing of this product is 20 kg aluminum foil bag with carton box outside. Other custom-tailor packing is possible on special request.
Storage and Shelf Life:
Should be stored in dry, cool, ventilated room; keep away from water, moisture, high temperature and fire. Packages already opened should be used up immediately; otherwise this product will react with the moisture in the air and will be not qualified for use.
This product has a shelf life of at least 6 months from date of manufacture in the original packing.
