Abstract:
Dry Silane XLM70 is delivered in form of solid, free flowing pellets, containing liquid XLP 70 (the equivalent product to XL PEarl® 70M from Momentive) which contains a multi-component cross-linking system which includes a thermal stabilizer and a copper inhibitor, developed for use in moisture cross-linking of halogen free flame retardant (HFFR) compounds and semi-conductive compounds for LV & MV cables. Our special carrier technology has made it possible to manufacture this highly concentrated batch successfully.

Applications and Performance:
It mainly used in moisture cross-linking of halogen free flame retardant (HFFR) compounds and semi-conductive compounds for LV & MV cables.
Packing:
The regular packing of this product is sealed aluminum bags (10kg) in one Oktabin, other packing is possible on special request.
Storage and Shelf Life:
Store under cool and dry conditions. Due to the decomposition temperature of the dry silane above 70°C, the masterbatch should not be stored or shipped at temperatures above 55 °C, since some degradation of product may occur. Direct sunlight exposure and temperatures below 0°C should also be avoided.
A period of at least 6 months from date of manufacture can normally be expected. Bags should be kept close and air tight when not in use.
